That was how they described me in school. I had the potential for so much but I wasn’t applying myself how I should. I participated in the advanced placement classes but was always bringing up the rear of the pack in them (except for English). I wasn’t a bad student, but my head was someplace else. My priorities were elsewhere.
In my mind, I was in other worlds.
Rubber erasers were spaceships, clouds outside were battling titans, pencils were swords, and my hands filled in all the gaps. My mind has always been filled with fiction (once called daydreaming), and now I pour those thoughts out through my keyboard for the world to enjoy. I hope that many do, but in the end, all I’m trying to do here is keep myself entertained. And I’m doing a pretty good job.
I was born and raised in the heart of the Midwest, St. Louis, MO. I still reside just outside of the city with my incredible wife and amazing daughter.
I write every word for them.
I am everything but unmotivated now.
